Match 16 – Aston Eyre 12/11/2017

12 fished

Quarry Pool

Our last match of the season, winter is here.  And didn’t we know it, the weather was atrocious for the start of this match with heavy rain and a cold northerly wind blowing over the venue.  Thanks to Tony Crann for ferrying the tackle down to the pool.

It was a welcome return to Rob McKee who was catching on the lead and pole in the edge to frame 1st with 52lb.  Meanwhile, Dan was fishing against Martin to determine who would secure overall second on the leader board.  Dan was on a renowned peg on Quarry while Martin struggled as it seems the carp would not be moved from the top end of the pool.

1 Rob McKee Peg 15 52-04
2 Trevor Briggs Peg 13 48-00
3 Dan Podmore Peg 29 45-08

That’s all the fishing done for this year, thanks to everyone who has fished with us this year and hope to see you all at the presentation evening.
