14 fished
Dexter Pool
A day of showers and autumnal feel greeted anglers visiting Haye Farm last Sunday. We still had a good turnout of 14 in total and a welcome return to Billy who hasn’t fished for a while. Fish were topping on Dexter Pool, there were plenty of fish moving about and a few favoured pegs were being noted before the draw. Peg one was closest to the car park it looked favourite with the right angler fishing it. And that angler was Simon who battered the rest of us by weighing in 94lb. It was closer for places in the frame right down to sixth place. So Guy continues to lead the points from Terry with three anglers tied in third place.
1 | Simon Harris | Peg 1 | 94-00 |
2 | Mickey Meah | Peg 2 | 63-00 |
3 | Mel Boulds | Peg 14 | 59-00 |
How exactly did people fish it? Just after a little info as I have a contest on here I’m a few weeks.
Peg one fished long pole under the tree for a good stamp of carp on pellets. Others fished the inside tight to the bank on banded pellet or corn. A few fish we’re caught on feeder methods as well. Hope this helps.
