13 fished
Lark Pool
The session got off to a great start, before everyone had set up on their pegs, Brian threw his keep net in forgetting that he needed to keep hold of the open end LOL (he did manage to retrieve it and set up okay after that). Once the whistle went everyone was catching from the start. Some on feeder, others on pole either long or short, so everything looked in favour of big winning weights. Banter around the pool, was that Rob, Dan, Terry, Mickey and Simon were all catching well, it would be down to the stamp of fish they were all catching to determine who would make the frame.
Mickey was fishing feeder to the island, and was hitting the mark every time, impressive casting – which was being rewarded with good fish throughout the match. Rob was plundering carp on the tip of the island on long pole. Terry was catching well on feeder to the island on the opposite side of the pool to Rob. Meanwhile Martin and I were being frustrated by margin carp – tails in the air – sail away bites and nothing on the hook.
We weighed in a total over 773lb. Well done everyone.
