Heron Pool

The third match of the season brought the club to Vineyard Heron Pool, where the anglers were met with cloudy skies and a westerly breeze. The conditions added a bit of a challenge, but the fish were still willing to feed, making for another enjoyable day on the bank.
There was a solid mix of carp and silvers caught, and although the bites weren’t always easy to come by, the top three made it count:
🥇 Mark Harris (Peg 9) – 48 lbs 0 oz
🥈 Barry Podmore (Peg 7) – 23 lbs 8 oz
🥉 Terry Eardley (Peg 16) – 17 lbs 2 oz
A great effort from all involved, and a big congratulations to the framers! The competition is heating up nicely as we head into the next match.
