The much-anticipated doubles match took place at Woodland View on the Ghost Pool, with ten anglers participating. The day turned out to be one of the warmest of the season, creating ideal conditions for an exciting competition.
Winners:
Carol and Mark Harris emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork to secure the top spot with an impressive combined weight of 121lb 8oz. Mark Harris was the standout performer of the day, individually weighing in over 100lb.
Runners-up:
Steve and Dave closely followed, landing a total weight of 112lb 8oz to take second place.
Third Place:
Martin and Guy also put up a strong fight, finishing just 2lb short of the second-place weight with 110lb 8oz.
Overall, it was a closely contested match on a beautifully warm day, with all participants demonstrating their angling prowess on the Ghost Pool.
Mark returned to the top of the leader board.
