Monkhall Swallow Pool Fishing Match Report
The latest match at Monkhall Swallow Pool delivered an impressive set of results, much to the delight of all participants. Anglers enjoyed a productive day, with plenty of fish caught primarily on the short pole line using either caster or pellet. You needed over 100lb to make the frame!
Mark Harris emerged as the eventual winner with an outstanding 178lb 12oz, using caster fished shallow. Close behind, Simon Harris secured second place with 143lb, caught on a 6mm pellet on the short pole line. Terry Eardley claimed third place with a commendable 117lb 8oz.
The abundance of catches and the effectiveness of the short pole line technique contributed to an exciting and fulfilling day for everyone involved. It was a great day of fishing, showcasing the excellent conditions and good head of fish at Monkhall Swallow Pool.
