We had a cold start , at Lodge Lane, our first match of 2026. Normally on Polepushers first match we have ice and minus temperatures but this morning was a tropical 5 degrees.

Fishing was hard , the weather was windy and cold, many anglers shivering on their boxes.
Some found carp on the tip, others had to make do with silvers, and occasional carp inside, but everyone was cold
