Izaak Walton Canal Fishing Match Report
Under the warm spring sun, thirteen anglers gathered at the Izaak Walton Canal for a challenging match. Despite the ideal weather, the canal proved tough, resulting in disappointing weights overall.
Steve Bailey emerged as the victor, conquering peg 18 with a weight of 22lb 4oz. Mark Harris followed closely behind, securing second place with 18lb. Martin claimed third with 13lb 8oz.
Though the weather was pleasant, the elusive fish made for a challenging day. Despite this, camaraderie among the anglers remained high as they reflected on the day’s trials and triumphs.
